We produce garments in our studio in small batches. Our studio is located on an island on the outskirts of Shanghai, in Dongtan at the eastern end of the island. This is where the river meets the sea, a typical estuarine tidal wetland, and part of the East Asian–Australasian Migratory Bird Flyway, where millions of migratory birds pass through each year. Working here, our attention shifts slowly, following soil, nature, and the passing of time.
